In Spanish this semester our teacher made a new rule saying that homework is optional. She said it because the only reason to give homework is to get you ready for the test and quizzes. I think the rule is good for people who actually take the time to study or are in activities for they don’t have to worry about getting it done. It is bad for people who don’t study and expect to get free points for doing stuff that will help you with the test.
This assignment we had to make a 100 word story in spanish about one of five choices Mrs. Huff gave us. I picked the picture with the dad and the daughter driving in a car. I said they were going to a Father brings kid to work day and they got to play many games against other parents and their kids. I think i did pretty good but could of improved my grammar a little more. My paragraph is below.
Hola me llama es Selena y estoy cuatro años. Yo estoy conduciendo con mi padre a su trabajo. Él tiene que ir a trabajar muy temprano en la mañana. Él trabaja muy duro. Hoy vamos a muy divertido a su trabaja y la reunión. Nosotros jugando juegos con otras personas. Nosotros jugando baloncesto en el parque en la tarde y futbol en la noche. Vamos a ganar premios para los juegos que jugamos. Despues de todo lo que vamos a ir a casa y comer una grande cena. Yo amo a mi padre para esto.
La casa está en Honomu, Hawaii. Honomu es muy pequeño con a población de quinientos nueve habitantes. La casa tiene un primer piso pero no segundo piso. La no tiene un garaje. Hay un muy grande asoleadera. La cocina tiene un microondas y refrigerador. La casa tiene cuatro dormitorios y tres baños. Hay muchas ventana en le casa para mucha luz. La casa cuesta uno millones cuatrocientos setenta y cinco mil.
Me levanto a las siete. Voy a tomar una ducha. Yo puedo comer chocolate de Pop Tarts. Yo voy a la escuela de Denver. Yo lee en la clase de ingles. No me gusta la educación física. Yo puedo comer el almuerzo. Yo voy a la sala de estudio. Yo voy a casa tres. Puedo comer un bocadillo. Yo hago mi tarea. Puedo comer la cena. Yo voy a dormir.
In Spanish today we played a game of Jenga to help us review for our Semester test. Our team lost because of Alek knocked it over and Isaac called that he was going to knock it over at the beginning of the game. We could of one because Vincent was up next and we were pretty sure he going to knock it over. Cole had the most shakiest hands I have seen ever.
This blog we are going to talk about why Internet translation doesn’t always give the correct answer. It might help you if you have one or two words to figure out it is good , but not for big sentences. It doesn’t usually help your education in Spanish because it is just like a cheating tool and could hurt your grade when you come to test time. It also could hurt your grade because you will get the answer wrong and it could get a bad grade on that assignment.
In this blog we talked about how Internet translator could be bad for your spanish education because you aren’t truly not learning the Spanish vocabulary. It can be helpful with a couple words but not full sentences, but not all of the time.
Today in foods one we made taco salad it was good except there wasn’t enough meet and to much dressing. I liked it except the tomatoes in it I just hate tomatoes. My group was Josh H., Madison J, and I. We were supposed to have Andy M. but he didn’t show up today. This relates to spanish because tacos is a spanish type of food.
The movie El Norte was a pretty good movie and it shows how hard it is to get across the border without getting caught. It was weird why the dads head was hung from that tree and the soldiers thought the Puma was killed by him when he was just knocked out.
