Last Christmas I took a vacation with my family to Guam to visit my stepbrother who is in the Navy. One of the places we visited was called Two Lovers Point. The story behind the point is there once was a Spanish princess and a Chamorran Indian. They met and instantly fell in love (like any other love story.) The Spanish Princess’s parents did not approve of this love, so they ran away together and jumped off the point together, because they couldn’t stand the thought of not being together.

The story sounds like Romeo and Juilet, Star-crossed lovers who commit suicide.
